Laws About Driving

 

1.      What age requirement is needed to apply for a license?

 

a)     No age restriction, anyone can apply

b)     16 to 18 years of age with parents・ or legal guardians・ written permission

c)      15 ½ years of age for a learning permit

d)     18 years of age

 

2.      Who does not need a California license?

 

a)   All California residents over 18 years of age must have a current, valid drivers license to operate a wheeled or track vehicle on public highways in California.

 

b)  All California residents under the age of 18 but at least 16 years of age may obtain a driver・s license with the permission of their parents or legal guardians and complete an approved Driver・s Training Course.

 

c)      All military personnel on active duty must have a California drivers license

3.      What is not required to process a California Driver・s License Examination?

4.  What is required for a minor to obtain a drivers License?

a.      Must be at least 16 years old.

b.      Have proof of completing both Driver Education and Driver Training.
